Check out my upcoming Travel Blog. Experience the Philippines like never before. MABUHAY

By the Beach

Hi Everyone, as you may know, I will be returning to the Phillipines for 1 month. I will be leaving Fort St. John, June 15th 2023 and will be flying via Vancouver and Taipei Taiwan before landing in Clarke Pampanga, Luzon Philippines which is just 1 hour from where I and my family live. I will be returning to FSJ BC Canada on July 17th 2023.  Many of you already know this. BUT WHAT YOU MAY NOT KNOW IS.. that I have had so much support, so many questions about my family, about the Philippines, the culture, foods, culture shock, and so many other things so I decided to do a FB LIVE travel video Blog which I’ve Titled “BELCHER’S VIDEO TRAVEL BLOG”

Now, THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING A LIVE VIDEO BLOG. So don’t expect anything super polished and fancy or even close to professional, but I know I have great content that will be very exciting, informative, challenging, and I I work hard at it, it might even be a little funny.

CHECK IT OUT ON FACEBOOK LIVE AT paul.belcher.1

Funny faces dearly missed. Messenger to the Rescue!

My daughter with missing teeth  age 7 making funny faces at daddy

As many of our regular readers probably know,  I have a wife and two children in the Philippines. I am in the process of trying to bring them over here to Canada permanently, but it takes lots of documentation (some of it from many years back), lots of time, money and patience.

Nothing makes time feel faster and the family closer than being able to do video messenger with them and see funny faces by my daughter Hannah. It has been over two years since I’ve been to our home in the Philippines due to Covid 19 and it has been very tough on me but harder yet on my wife and my kids who are without a husband and father.

Hannah loves going through and playing hide and go seek in the backgrounds, playing the messenger games, and the AI masks which transform ones face to a cat or numerous other things.

Seeing Hannah and her funny faces, seeing her and her teeth that were loose and got pulled out, and seeing their day to day lives, makes being here working, trying to bring them over worth it. Despite the thousands of km’s between Fort St. John, BC Canada and Cristo Rey Caps Tarlac Luzon Philippines our family is brought together by technology especially through multi-functional tools on Messenger.

Thank you messenger for the smiles, laughs and family time with my precious wife of 10 years married Jerome age 14, and Hannah Pauline age 7.
